A president?A merchant?| Trump’s different way to manage the US

“What separates the winners from the losers is how a person reacts to each new twist of fate”

The above sentence is my favourite selection from the book( The Art of the Deal) written by DT. His family has a great deal of wealth, though, but without his personal stuggle and strengh, I do believe that  successfully transforming from a wealthy merchant to a radical president is inpossible for Trump. Through out this, we could also perceive some merchants feeling during his president career, and this article will tell you about some of his early experince and particular policies to guarantee the US’s benefit.

As I said, Trump’s first success is for operating a adventurous business. In 1968, after graduating from University of Pennsylvania(Warton School), he went to his father’s company and became a manager(his father gave him such a chance). For the first time, he used what he learnt in the university in the practical market situations. His first commercial ambition exists in the early 1970s, when he began to focus on Manhattan, helping him gain the reputation of being a good investor. His business life reach a peak by constructing the iconic Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in 1980 so you can see his potential for being a merchant despite of his father’s help. We can also hear the controversy that Trump’s real estate actually has been destroyed simply because his abuse of investments for constucting so many companies. Overall, from the perspective of a 40 years-old businessman, his personal actions demonstrate his ability and difference. What we can concluded is that a successful people always has comprehensive hobbies and characteristics,even someone is a president while doing a great business.

Above is my personal ponder for DT from the perspective of being a merchant. Moreover, I would also like to praise him for being a fierce and powerful president.His attitude and policy are not change,but his offical photograph totally change from 2021 to 2025.(imply some severe policies will be taken though we have been familar with his tough style).

  Back to our theme about economy and policy, we can also search some famous policies he used in 2021 DT period:(he changed many, and I will give a representative case.)

We give the trade war in 2018-2021 for instance.

1.   On July 6, 2018, the US imposed an additional 25% tariff on $34 billion worth of CN exports to the United States.
2.   The Office of the US Trade Representative subsequently announced the first batch of tax lists targeting US$50 billion of CN goods exported to the US on June 16, raising the original 10% tax rate to 25%.
3.   On May 5, 2019, DT announced a 25% tariff on another $200 billion worth of CN exports to the United States, for a total of $250 billion.
4.   On August 1, because the DT administration was dissatisfied with the CN government’s purchase of US agricultural products, DT announced on Twitter that starting from September 1, 2019, all CN exports to the US worth US$300 billion would be levied 10% tariff.
5.   Actually the trade war never stop, after president election, president BD still hope to give some sanctions to CN.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Above big decisions were only made in about two years so you can see that Trump’s real purpose is not to be a warmful president, but to act like a merchant, maintaining US government benefit but also decline CN’s economy. In other words, Trump’s political style demonstrate this idea, no images, full of humor and domineering, in his campaign speech, like a childern though he is a 60-years-old candidate.

    

   

   Now we have 2025, of course a great future to develop global economy, and political news: DT won the election. Until now it is clear, his saction will come back soon. Will he still discriminate

   CN? We don’t know yet. But he has quited WHO and UNFCCC. It’s normal, so to say, he is a great presidential merchant.
